Imagine skiing or snowboarding down mountains and glaciers 1000s of meters high with an awesome group of like-minded adventurers... and then sitting around a table laughing and joking as you sip on a hot chocolate surrounded by a breathtaking view of a sunset in the alps. Now open your eyes and read on because we are grasping Zell am See in Austria and your imagination could soon turn to reality. Skiing is not a cheap sport but we try to take advantage of being a group to offer you reasonable prices; that is why our package includes everything from the flight to your ski passes and equipment rental. All you need to do is show up and turn up the energy!
WHY SKI ZELL AM SEE, AUSTRIA WITH GRASP THE ADVENTURE:
We've got countless reasons but here are some.
At Grasp The Adventure, our number 1 goal is to promote the spirit of adventure and the love of nature while forming bonds as powerful as the mountains we hike on. We sincerely view all the graspers that joined our previous trips as friends and family, this is why we do our best to keep them safe and happy at all times. So besides going on awesome adventures to jaw-dropping sights, you’ll also be making new, like-minded friends.

This trip is about more than skiing; it is about connecting with nature, yourself and the friends you will make. We will spend the nights in a quaint villa surrounded by the Austrian Alps where we'll share funny stories, emotional life lessons and when things get a bit too heavy, we'll lighten the mood with board games and snacks. Most of our previous Graspers swear by the connections they made during our trips, and we completely understand why... after all, we feel the same way.

Zell am See is one of the highest rated ski resorts in Austria and for very good reasons. The view of Lake Zell as you ski down the slope is simply breathtaking. Moreover, there are several ski-lifts that help you access slopes with diverse difficulty levels ranging from blue (easy) all the way to black (difficult). The ski passes included in your package also give you access to the lifts in the neighboring resort, Kaprun, which take you the Kitzsteinhorn glacier at an elevation of 3200 meters! Don't worry though, higher elevation does not mean difficult ski slopes, and you can enjoy zig-zagging down the glacier even as a beginner.

We understand that skiing is not a cheap sport, which is why we take advantage of being a group to offer you more affordable prices. If you have never skied before and want to take a private lesson, we will group you with other Graspers that feel the same so you can split the cost.
IS SKIING TOO DIFFICULT FOR YOU... THE ANSWER IS NO!
Remain calm and read on!
So you're dying to join but afraid you're not skilled enough at skiing or snowboarding? Or have you never been on a slope before and don't know how to ski at all? Worry not my graspers, because you are not alone. This trip is organized for the complete beginners and the experts alike. There are plenty of easy runs that will help you hone your skills before you are ready to tackle more difficult ones. If you never skied before, we will help you arrange a lesson with the best instructors available. Skiing lessons are known to be expensive though, so we contacted all the schools in Zell am See and worked out great deals for you. We will group you with other Graspers that are interested in taking a lesson so that the cost is split between you. From our experience, one to two 2-hr lessons should provide you with the basics required to hit the slopes with us. The best thing about traveling as a Grasper though, is that you'll almost never find yourself alone.

You may show up with no experience, but on your fourth skiing day when you are zooming down the slope with the sun setting over Lake Zell in your view; you'll be very glad you decided to grasp this adventure!
