Meeting Time: 5:30 PM Location: 32XH+5V - Shawka Hike Difficulty: 4/10 Fitness Difficulty: Moderate Technical Difficulty: Moderate Hike Duration: 4-5 Hours About the Hike: The UAE's top canyoning experience. We turn right away from the famous Shawka Canyon into a smaller gorge where we cut into the surrounding mountains. As the trail goes on, we begin to slowly gain elevation before starting the most difficult section up to a high panoramic viewpoint. After a short rest, we descend a steep scree slope and loop back into Shawka canyon. The way back to the cars is filled with cold water pools. Test your skills by avoiding getting wet or plunge into the water to cool off, the choice is yours... although we encourage the latter! Transportation: 4 Wheel Drives are NOT needed to get to the meeting point. If you do not have a way to get to the meeting point, please contact us and we are happy to help arrange a carpool for you. Health & Safety: 1. You have to pack at least 3 liters of water for the hike, we cannot stress on this point enough 2. Light snacks are recommended to keep you fueled 3. Hiking boots are strongly recommended for your safety and comfort 4. Smoking is strictly NOT allowed during the hike 5. Hike & Movie Night Policy: Cancellations will be accepted with full refund minus 5% processing fees until 72 hours from the adventure No refunds will be processed for cancellations within 72 hours of the adventure As we try to run Grasp the Adventure with a family spirit, specific cases can be considered Outdoor Climbing Policy: 15 days before the adventure: 95% Refund Between 7-15 days before the adventure: 50% Refund Less than 7 days before the adventure: 0% Refund
