6.O- Oman Dhow Dolphins, Snorkel & Hike

Service Description

This adventure is perfect for everyone! We'll be spending two days aboard a traditional Dhow where we'll look for dolphins, snorkel at beautiful reefs, swim with glowing plankton and hike to watch a beautiful sunrise. The hike is not technical. The dhow cruise is a typical two deck Arabian Dhow; it is spacious and comfortable. Food (starting with lunch) and all day refreshments, dinner and breakfast are included. Showers and toilets are available. Itinerary: December 2: 5 PM Khassab Port December 3: 4 PM at Khassab Port Day 1: The Grasp team will pick you up from our set meeting points in Abu Dhabi and Dubai (refer to transportation section). You can also drive yourself; however you must be at the Khassab port by 4:30 PM sharp. Omani coffee, tea, soft drinks, water and fresh fruits will be available on the Dhow. First, we head to Telegraph Island to anchor for the night. After sunset, we can search for glowing plankton if you can brave the cold night waters! A BBQ dinner will be served on deck with plenty of delicious options. After a night of engaging conversations and fun games, we fall asleep on the top deck of the dhow under a starry night sky. Day 2: At 5 AM, a speedboat will take us to shore where we'll begin a short hike to a viewpoint to watch the sunrise. Breakfast will be served on the dhow when we get back. Next, we head to the natural dolphins' area to watch them racing and playing around our dhow. We then continue to a coral reef area where we'll get our first snorkeling opportunity before a traditional Omani lunch is served. Finally, we sail towards Seebi Island for the second snorkeling opportunity before heading back to the port to end our awesome adventure. *While dolphin sightings are common, they are never guaranteed.
