Service Description

Meeting Time: 2 PM Sharp Location: P3HQ+86 - Ras al Khaimah Hike Overall Difficulty: 5/10 Fitness Difficulty: Moderate Technical Difficulty: Moderate Hike Duration: 5 Hours Hike Distance: 8 km About the Hike: We will meet on Jabal Yanas for a safety briefing before hiking deep into the mountain towards the hidden villages. The route then takes us out of the villages and into a mixture of different canyons and gorges until we make our way back up the mountain and to our cars. After the hike, you may opt to stay behind for our BBQ, food can be ordered on the website. We will be lighting a bonfire and celebrating New Year's together as well. Camping is also optional but strongly recommended, after all, why wouldn't you want to enjoy the starry night around a campfire with likeminded grasper?! Transportation: 4 Wheel Drives are not needed to get to the meeting point, but they are needed to get to the hike starting point. You can park at the meeting spot and jump in with someone else if you don't have a 4x4. Car pooling options are also discussed on the Hike WhatsApp Group (link in confirmation email). Health & Safety: 1. You have to pack at least 3 liters of water for the hike, we cannot stress on this point enough 2. Light snacks are recommended to keep you fueled 3. Hiking boots are strongly recommended for your safety and comfort 4. Smoking is strictly NOT allowed during the hike 5. Hike & Movie Night Policy: Cancellations will be accepted with full refund minus 5% processing fees until 72 hours from the adventure No refunds will be processed for cancellations within 72 hours of the adventure As we try to run Grasp the Adventure with a family spirit, specific cases can be considered Outdoor Climbing Policy: 15 days before the adventure: 95% Refund Between 7-15 days before the adventure: 50% Refund Less than 7 days before the adventure: 0% Refund
